Originally we manufactured model airplane kits with balsa wood. In 2002, we initiated the activity of manufacturing rigid and flexible end grain balsa panels with the trademark BALSAFLEX. The company is located in Balseurop Ecuato Española, S.L. Polígono Industrial de Melianta E-17833 Fontcoberta - Girona - Spain We have two production centres: one is located in Spain and another bigger production center is located in El Ecuador, from which we export to locations all over the world. Today our maximum manufacturing capacity is 22.000m3 /year and will soon be 30.000m3 /year, because we are preparing a capacity increase, which will position us as the Second largest end grain balsa wood panel manufacturer in the world. Our balsa wood panels have Lloyd's Register Certificate and Germanische Lloyd's Certificate as well. Both production centres are working under ISO 9001 and ISO 14001 in the process to implant. Today we are the Second largest flexible balsa wood panel manufacturer, processing and supplying all known panel types, such as flexible with glass scrim, perforated, grooved and coated to a variety of customer specifications.
